In 1998, Devex was founded from a vision of a company based on timeless values and a working environment that promotes creativity through interesting and high intensive projects. Being able to work with challenging projects on a daily basis creates well-being and camaraderie among our coworkers. Ten years experience has lead to a fine-tuned concept –to be a strategic resource in intense developing projects –from your idea to the end product. We strive towards total humility when we take on an assignment or task. This humility in combination with the competent staff at Devex Mekatronic, have made us a much appreciated, long-term partner.

Sometimes a project requires outsourcing part of the work. In addition to our in-house specialists, we have obtained a strong network throughout the years in different areas of expertise. Devex is part of a large network including industry designers, prototype manufacturers, graphic designers and marketing managers to name a few.

Project management

Strong management is the key to all successful projects. When all parts are in agreement on where the project is headed, the project manager maps out a plan that takes possibilities and risks into consideration from three perspectives; technique, competence, and market. Once you have approved of the plan, the project manager will coach the developing team to reach the goal, according to the plan. We use an effective, well-established project management model to satisfy our customers.

Devex works with mechanical development within several different business areas and the majority of the assignments involve new product development.

Comprehensive view for best result

Our engineers have a comprehensive view in considering manufacturing, production costs and environment from the start. All design work is done almost exclusively in 3D-CAD with the cadsystem that you prefer. Thanks to our long experience in the field, we can early on make realistic cost-, time-, and risk assessments.

Safe and cost-effective

We provide pre-studies and create early prototypes for our customers to observe. Several projects are taken into large scale production. This is being done by outsourcing or through our production partner Devex Pro Part. By using modern technologies like FFF, CNC mill, laser cutting-, and electro discharge machines, we can offer safe and cost-effective solutions and constructions that meet or exceed our customers’ demands.

Quality control and design

Internal quality control and reference groups ensure high quality of the construction work even in complex projects and when pressed for time. Along with our internal and external designers we ensure that the products live up to the demands of the market in terms of ergonomics, design and sense of quality.
